રાજસ્થાનમાંથી મોટા પ્રમાણમાં પશુઓને ટ્રકો મારફતે બનાસકાંઠા તેમજ ગુજરાત અને મહારાષ્ટ્ર ના કતલખાનાઓમાં મોકલવાનો કારોબાર બિન્દાસ પણે ધમધમી રહ્યો છે આ ટ્રકો ગુજરાતની ચેકપોસ્ટ ઉપરથી પસાર થતી હોવા છતાં પણ પોલીસ ટ્રકોને પકડતી નથી ત્યારે ન છૂટકે પોલીસ નું કામ જીવદયા પ્રેમીઓ એ કરવું પડે છે ત્યારે રવિવારે મોડી રાત્રે ફરિયાદી દિનેશભાઈ અમરાભાઇ રાઠોડ તેમના મિત્ર સાથે ઇકબાલગઢ થી દર્શન કરી પરત આવતા હતા.
તે દરમિયાન તેમની ગાડી આગળ ટ્રકો શંકાસ્પદ જણાતા તે ટ્રકોમાં ગેરકાયદેસર પશુ ભરેલા હોવાનું જાણવા મળતા જેથી દિનેશભાઈ રાઠોડ એ તાત્કાલિક શ્રી રાજપુર ડીસા પાંજરાપોળોના જીવદયા પ્રેમીઓને જાણ કરતા જે બાદ પોલીસ કંટ્રોલ રૂમમાં જાણ કરી પોલીસની મદદ મેળવી આબુરોડ હાઇવે પર આવેલ સહયોગ હોટલ નજીક પાંચ ટ્રકો જેમનો નંબર (1)GJ 12 BY 8095,(2)GJ 24 X 8225,(3) GJ 24 V 7702,(4) GJ 24 V 8686,(5) GJ 24 V 9188, આ તમામ ટ્રકોનો જીવદયા પ્રીમિયો દ્વારા પીછો કરાતા આરટીઓ સર્કલ નજીક પોલીસની મદદથી મેળવી પાંચે ટ્રકોને ઝડપી પાડેલ આ પાંચે ટ્રકોમાં જોતા કુર્તાપૂર્વક ઘેટા બકરાઓને ભરેલા જોવા મળેલ.

જોકે ખીચોખીચ ભરેલા હોવાથી 21 જેટલા ઘેટા બકરા ના મોત થયા છે રાજસ્થાન ના આબુરોડ તરફ થી 5 ટ્રકો માં ઘેટા બકરા ભરી ને કતલખાને અમદાવાદ તરફ જઈ રહી છે તેવી માહિતી જીવદયા પ્રેમીઓ ને મળતા તાત્કાલિક રવિવારે મોડી રાત્રે જીવદયપ્રેમીઓએ પાલનપુર હાઇવે ઉપરથી 5 ટ્રકો ને જડપી પાડી હતી જેમાં અંદર તપાસ કરતાં ખીચોખીચ ઘેટા બકરા ભરેલા હોવાથી તેમણે પોલીસ ને જાણ કરતા પાલનપુર તાલુકા પોલીસ ની ટીમ તુરંત સ્થળ ઉપર પહોંચી ગઈ હતી અને તમામ જીવો ને આશ્રય માટે ડીસા ની કાંટની સંસ્થા ખાતે લાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા પોલીસે ખીચોખીચ ભરેલા પશુઓ ની ગણતરી કરતા કુલ 1378 ઘેટા બકરા હતા જેમાં 21 જેટલા ઘેટા બકરા જીવ ના મોત થયાં છે.
કાંટ ખાતે આ તમામ પશુઓ માટે ઘાસચારો પાણી તેમજ તબીબો દ્વારા સારવાર કરવામાં આવી હતી આ મામલે પાલનપુર તાલુકા પોલીસે ગુનો નોંધી વધુ તપાસ હાથ ધરી છે.
