About Us

The Rajpur Deesa Panjarapole Started in 1992 by saving two goats and save more than 1.25 lakh animal lives with support of law and order. The animals were saved from the brutality of slaughterhouses. To save these kind of lives often times the animal loving volunteers have risked their lives and have been attacked numerous times. There have been multiple instances of court cases, besides all these incidents this is the specialty of the organization that any living animal no matter in however conditions would go back to a slaughter house. Wherever required it has appealed to the local courts and to the High Court or be it the Supreme Court.

With more than 9000 animals depended on the organization have a daily expenditure of Rs. 3.25 to 3.50 lakhs. The organization has no specific source of income and or a fixed deposit, The organization merely runs on Donations received by a specific donators.

The organization have done all the necessary and required arrangements for the animals that are depended on the organization. There are more than 100 cattle herders and more than five people knowing animal medical welfare. Also the animals are taken care of the Grass fodder provided to them and are provided both green and the dry grass fodder.

Highlights of all the animals rescued till date:

• Year 1994 10 trucks full with goats and sheep rescued from Deesa Rural

• Year 1995 5 trucks full with goats and sheep rescued from Deesa Rural

• Year 1996 5 trucks full with goats-sheep rescued from Palanpur Rural

• Year 1997 31 trucks full with Cattle rescued from Sanchore (Rajasthan)

• Year 1998 1510 Cattle rescued from a Jodhpur to Anand train

• Year 2008 8 trucks full with more than 2200 goats and sheep rescued from Deesa

• Year 2016 horses rescued from West Bengal

• Year 2017 Camels rescued from Hyderabad

• In the year 2018, by stopping the agitation for sheep and goats being exported to Arab countries from Gujarat’s Tuna port for slaughter, the export of millions of sheep and goats was stopped from Gujarat.

• In the year 2019-20, during the difficult period of Covid-19, after the agitation work against the government, 4.25 lakh animals of Gujarat got help.

• Even after the untimely demise of Shri Bharatbhai Kothari in the year 2021, the organization saved about 3200 animals by going to the slaughterhouse.
